Sekatech is a company originally founded to manage the intellectual property of Dr Matthew Rooney, a practicing consultant anaesthetist.

Sekatech provides private anaesthesia services including detailed pre-operative assessment reports including risk analysis with counselling, as well as anaesthesia for most specialities including ENT surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, general surgery, ophthalmic and vascular surgery. Dr Rooney provides these services and regularly anaesthetises children as well as elderly patients having major emergency surgery. 
He also provides local and regional anaesthesia and is particularly skilled at sedation. There is a particular emphasis on using methods to minimise pain and maximise rapid recovery.

Sekatech can also provide clinical insight into the development of new medical technologies with understanding of manufacturing and intellectual property.
